ATLANTA DENTAL CLINICS
Frequently Asked Questions
Great place to go if you want substandard and incompetent care. We chose this clinic because of its sliding scale fee. (We have none in our area). This neant a fifty mile drive--one way for us. We went for a tooth extraction. On the initial visit, the dentiist was told that the tooth was abcessed. X-rays were taken, but no antibiotics were given. On the second visit, the tooth was extracted even though it was still abcessed. Again, no antibiotics were given. The day after the tooth extraction, my son developed an infection at the needle puncture where the novacaine was given. He has other medical issues which make him highly succeptable to infection and the dentist was aware of this. He also developed a fever. After three days of trying to contact the dentist, she finally reurned our call. After much discussion (in which she denied even seeing an abcess), she called in a prescription for some antibiotics. We still had to make an appointment with a doctor locally, who gave us a different antibiotic, which was better suited for the infection. The whole experience was horrible. We will never visit this clinic again.
I think they are very good.
