Health Kentucky, Inc. takes applications and qualifies individuals for the The Kentucky Physicans Care Program.

The KPCP is for those who cannot afford health insurance, and are not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare.

The KPCP allows them to see a health care provider for one routine office visit at no charge with physicians, pharmacists, dentists and other health care providers who are donating their time.

The KPC program also has an agreement with several pharmaceutical companies to provide certain prescription drugs at no cost to eligible patients.

People who feel they may qualify for this program may inquire at their local Department of Community Based Services (DCBS) office (i.e. food stamp office) in their county or Health Kentucky Inc.

The KPCP can provide certain home health services and hospice benefits if referral for these services are made by a participating KPCP physician

Must be uninsured.
